Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has called on the heads of regional military administrations to draft regional recovery projects as quickly as possible.

Shmyhal reported this in a Telegram post following an extended meeting of the presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, chaired by Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.

"The government is in constant communication with the local authorities. [...] I called on the heads of regional military administrations to develop recovery projects as soon as possible. In general, Ukraine has about UAH 150 billion in available and pledged funds for reconstruction," Shmyhal wrote.

He added that the priorities for recovery include energy, housing, critical infrastructure, demining and business support.

Shmyhal said he expected operational coordination with regional governors in order to start the first projects already in the spring.
