Minister Fedorov: Ukraine has no issues with Starlink terminals at the moment

Currently, Ukraine has no issues with the operation of Starlink terminals, which ensure a stable internet connection for critical infrastructure, ‘points of invincibility’, and allow Ukrainians to keep in touch with relatives.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister - Digital Transformation Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Currently, Ukraine has no issues with the operation of Starlink terminals. Today we have received the first few thousand Starlink terminals as part of a new shipment of 10,000 terminals from the Government of Germany,” Fedorov told.

In his words, Starlink terminals help to save thousands of lives. Thanks to this equipment, Ukraine’s energy infrastructure continues to operate, as well as ‘points of invincibility’ and health facilities, where doctors can perform difficult surgeries.

“Elon Mask is one of the biggest private donors to our future victory. SpaceX’s contribution, according to our estimates, is more than $100 million. We hope for the further stable operation of Starlink terminals in Ukraine,” Fedorov concluded.

A reminder that, according to Reuters, SpaceX has taken steps to prevent Ukraine’s military from using the company’s Starlink satellite internet service for controlling drones in the region during the country’s war with Russia.
