Zelensky: It's time to expand ‘grain initiative’ to ports of Mykolaiv region

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has proposed that the Black Sea Grain Initiative be expanded to the ports of Mykolaiv region.

He said this at a joint briefing with Prime Minister of Denmark Mette Frederiksen in Odesa on January 30, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"I thank Denmark for joining our ‘Grain from Ukraine’ initiative. It is very important that this initiative, as well as food exports from Odesa, from our ports, from Ukraine as a whole, was not only preserved, but also expanded. It is time to expand the Black Sea Grain Initiative, in our opinion, to the ports of Mykolaiv region and to remove any obstacles that limit the corresponding movement of vessels," Zelensky said.
