Ukrenergo sets new electricity consumption limits

Ukraine’s National Energy Company Ukrenergo has set new electricity consumption limits for Sunday, January 22.

The energy company DTEK said this in a statement on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

Thus, the daytime limit of electricity consumption for Kyiv city is 985 MW, the night limit is 627 MW, the daytime limit for the region is 704 MW, and the night limit is 576 MW.

For Odesa region, the daytime limit is set at the level of 602 MW and the night limit at 424 MW, for Dnipropetrovsk region – 1,193 MW and 1,144 MW, respectively.

It is noted that the new limits allow the application of stabilization shutdown schedules: in Odesa region - from 07:00 to 12:00, in other regions - around the clock.

As reported, Russia’s massive missile attacks on Ukraine's energy infrastructure have been ongoing since October 10. Damage to generation facilities and main electrical networks is complex and large-scale. Repair works are ongoing.
