Rolling blackouts introduced in 11 regions of Ukraine

Power outages have been introduced in 11 regions throughout Ukraine due exceeding electricity consumption limits.

Ukraine's state energy company Ukrenergo announced this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 12:00 on January 14, electricity consumption is lower than yesterday due to the warming and day-off. However, there is power shortage in the power system in the morning and evening hours. We remind you that this is a result of Russia’s massive missile and drone attacks on the energy infrastructure," the company said.

As reported by Ukrinform, an infrastructure object was hit in Kyiv city as a result of a Russian missile attack on Saturday morning, January 14.
