94,000 tenders worth UAH 120B held via ProZorro since Russian invasion started

A total of 94,000 tenders worth UAH 120 billion have been held via the ProZorro e-procurement system since the Russian full-scale invasion started.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Economy Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Since the war started, a total of 94,000 tenders worth UAH 120 billion have been held via the ProZorro system. More than 23,000 businesses became competitive tender participants. The difference between the total amount that public customers spent on their purchases and the amount for which tender contracts were signed came to UAH 6 billion,” the report states.

In general, the ProZorro system reported on more than 2,000,000 contracts signed for UAH 311 billion.

According to Ukrainian Economy Deputy Minister Nadiia Bihun, the ProZorro system and the ProZorro Market e-catalog were recognized as complaint with the World Bank’s e-procurement standards.

Despite all the difficulties and challenges in 2022, the ProZorro system demonstrated uninterrupted performance and the ability to change, even amid martial law, Bihun noted.
