This year, farmers of Dnipropetrovsk region collected more than 4 million tonnes of grain, which is a third less than last year.

Head of Dnipropetrovsk regional administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

The administration calls the indicators “average,” but they assure that there will be more than enough grain.

For the 2023 harvest, farmers sowed almost 640,000 hectares of winter crops.

"It's a little less than planned. The rains came in our way. In the spring, wheat, barley, corn, and sunflower will occupy the free areas," the head of the region noted.
