Government submits draft state budget prepared for second reading to Verkhovna Rada

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted a draft state budget for 2023, prepared for the second reading, to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Taras Melnychuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine draft bill No. 8000 ‘On Ukraine’s State Budget for 2023’, prepared for the second reading in accordance with the Budget Remarks of the Verkhovna Rada,” Melnychuk wrote.

In his words, the draft bill ‘On Ukraine’s State Budget for 2023’, prepared for the second reading, has been preliminarily approved by the Ukrainian government today. The text of the draft bill was published on the website of Parliament.

A reminder that, on October 7, 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine endorsed Ukraine’s draft state budget for 2023 in the first reading.
