Poland to continue help Ukraine export grain

Poland and other EU countries will continue help Ukraine to export grain to third countries amid Russia's refusal to fulfil its commitments under the grain initiative.

The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Poland wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"Russia's decision to suspend its participation in the grain initiative is another proof that it is not willing to adhere to any international agreements. Poland together with its EU partners stand ready to help Ukraine and those who need the transportation of necessary goods," the ministry wrote.

As reported, Russia accused Ukraine and Britain of "terrorist attacks against ships of the Black Sea Fleet and civilian vessels involved in guaranteeing the security of the grain corridor" and announced its withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres is holding negotiations on resuming Russia's participation in the grain agreement.

The movement of 218 ships participating in the "grain initiative" is currently practically blocked.
