Ukraine suspends electricity exports to stabilize energy system

From October 11, Ukraine suspends electricity exports in order to stabilize its energy system.

The Ministry of Energy said this in a statement posted on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

"Today's missile attacks, which affected the thermal power generation and electrical substations, force Ukraine to suspend electricity exports from October 11, 2022 in order to stabilize its own energy system," the report reads.

The ministry stressed that Russia continues to carry out energy terror against Ukraine and increases energy pressure on the European Union.

As reported, the Russian forces launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities on the morning of October 10. In total, more than 80 missiles were fired.
