Another caravan of grain ships leaves Ukrainian ports

Four ships with Ukrainian agricultural products for countries in Asia and Europe sailed from the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi on Monday, September 26.

The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"On September 26, as part of the implementation of the 'grain initiative,' four vessels with 88,170 tonnes of agricultural products for countries in Asia and Europe left the ports of Odesa and Pivdennyi," the report said.

It added that the vessels Mainland, New Faith, Usichem departed from the Odesa port and the Karteria sailed from the Pivdennyi port.

As reported, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia, and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres signed the initiative on the safe transportation of grain and foodstuffs from the ports of Odesa, Chornomorsk, and Pivdennyi at the proposal of the United Nations in Istanbul on July 22.
