Kubrakov: We are planning to resume rail service between Kharkiv and Izium

Ukraine’s Ministry of Infrastructure intends to resume the rail service between Kharkiv and Izium, which has been liberated from Russian invaders.

Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"We are working to increase the number of trains running, as well as routes. In particular, the nearest plans are to resume the rail service between Kharkiv and Izium," he said.

The minister clarified that the priority works include the clearing of roads and the construction of temporary crossings near the destroyed bridges. All involved services are ready to launch works and are waiting for the "green light" from mine clearance teams of the State Emergency Service.
