Five more ships with grain leave Ukrainian ports

As part of the ‘grain initiative’, five more vessels loaded with 90,000 tonnes of Ukrainian-produced agricultural crops have left Ukraine’s Odesa Port, Chornomorsk Port and Pivdennyi Port.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The vessels are now sailing towards African and European countries.

According to the ministry, a total of 2.6 million tonnes of agricultural products have been exported since the ‘grain initiative’ was launched. A total of 113 vessels loaded with Ukrainian-produced grain left for Asian, European and African countries.

A reminder that, on July 22, 2022, Ukraine, Turkey, Russia and the United Nations signed an agreement unblocking grain exports from three Ukrainian sea ports.
