Russian defense industry switching to 24/7 operations

Russian authorities are putting the country’s defense enterprises on a 24-hour work schedule.

This was reported by Ukrinform journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk on Telegram.

"The leadership of the Russian Federation began to implement covert measures of the so-called ‘industrial mobilization’ of their defense companies and enterprises. The companies have switched to a 24-hour work schedule. However, workers may not even dream of any salary increase," Tsymbaliuk wrote.

According to the journalist, employees refusing to work two shifts in a row are offered half their salary.
