Ukraine's exports in June amounted to $3.2B - Shmyhal

Ukraine's exports in June amounted to $3.2 billion, which was 20% more than in March.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Friday, July 22, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"The question of unblocking sea ports for our economy is a question of billions of dollars. In June, all exports from Ukraine amounted to $3.2 billion. This is 20% more than in March," he said.

At the same time, he said that exports in June this year were half of the pre-war figures.

"This export issue is particularly relevant today, when the harvest is in full swing in Ukraine," he said.

The Ministry of Economy earlier said it believes that Ukraine can increase the share of exports in the GDP structure from 35% to 50%.
