Support from allies exceeds $7B over three months - PM Shmyhal

Over the past three months, financial support received from Ukraine's allies has already exceeded $7 billion.

That’s according to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, who spoke at a government meeting, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Over more than 3 months, such support for Ukraine's allies has already exceeded $7 billion. We work every day and negotiate to have this aid expanded," Shmyhal said.

Today, he added, the Cabinet of Ministers will approve the terms of attracting financial support from the Government of Canada in the amount of almost $800 million. Earlier, Canadian partners have provided support worth nearly $400 million.

"We continue to develop joint projects with our European partners. Today we will approve a draft agreement with the European Union, which provides for the allocation of EUR 330 million for Ukraine. These are funds to support Ukraine’s economy and our people in the face of Russia's armed aggression. We are grateful for such help," Shmyhal added.
