Ukraine's GDP grew by 5.9% in Q4 2021 – statistics service

Ukraine's gross domestic product (GDP) in the fourth quarter of 2021 increased by 5.9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020, Ukrinform reports, referring to the State Statistics Service.

In particular, real GDP in the fourth quarter of 2021 grew by 1.8% compared to the previous quarter (seasonally adjusted), and by 5.9% compared to the fourth quarter of 2020.

As reported by Ukrinform, at a meeting with member companies of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine on February 1, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal stated about more than 3% GDP growth in 2021 and a record GDP totaling more than $195 billion.
