Ukrainian miners extracted 2.5M tonnes of coal in November

In November 2021, Ukrainian mining enterprises produced 2.49 million tonnes of coal, which is 7% higher than the production plan, Ukrinform reports, referring to the Coal Miners Union of Ukraine.

"In November 2021, coal mining companies of Ukraine of all forms of ownership extracted 2,490,654 tonnes of coal. The plan was fulfilled by 107%. State-owned mines produced 339,545 tonnes of coal. The production plan was fulfilled by 68%,” the report says.

Enterprises of the Energy Ministry in Luhansk region produced 19,535 tonnes of coal, which is 33,565 tonnes less than the production plan.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, DTEK Pavlohradvuhillia extracted 1,370,141 tonnes of coal, which is 2% less than planned.

In Lviv region, Lvivvuhillia State Enterprise produced 78,103 tonnes of coal. The production plan was fulfilled by 74%.

SE Volynvuhillia extracted 2,110 tonnes of coal. The production plan was fulfilled by 25%

Since the start of 2021, Ukrainian coal mining enterprises of all forms of ownership have produced 26,617,084 tonnes of coal, which is 106% of the plan. Since the beginning of the year, state-owned coal mining companies have extracted 1,119,967 tonnes of coal.
