All alcohol and tobacco products grew in price in Ukraine

From October 2020 to October 2021, beer, wine, vodka and cigarettes in Ukraine grew in price, according to the State Statistics Service.

Over the reporting period, the average price of domestic beer grew by 7.2% (up to UAH 18.94 per 0.5 liter); table wine - by 4.0% (up UAH to 69.61 per 0.75 liter); vodka - by 1.8% (up to UAH 94.11 per 0.5 liter).

The average price of a pack of Ukrainian filtered cigarettes October 2021 totaled UAH 50.02 (20 cigarettes), which is 19.2% more expensive than a year earlier, while the average price of a pack of unfiltered cigarettes totaled UAH 44.77 (up 18.8%).

As reported by Ukrinform, in October 2021, consumer prices in Ukraine grew by 0.9% compared to September 2021, by 10.9% compared to October 2020, and by 8.5% compared to December 2020. In general, consumer inflation in January-October 2021 was 9.2% compared to the same period in 2020.
