Ukraine’s grain exports reach almost 17.8M tonnes

Ukraine has exported 17.795 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops so far in the current marketing year (MY, started on July 1, 2021), which is 2.793 million tonnes more than in the same period last year, according to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

In particular, since July 1, 2021, Ukraine has already exported 11.529 million tonnes of wheat, 4.207 million tonnes of barley, 54.4 thousand tonnes of rye, and 1.815 million tonnes of corn.

In addition, over the reporting period, Ukraine’s exports of flour came to 41.5 million (down 18.4 million tonnes).

As reported, in 2020/2021 MY, Ukraine exported 44.72 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, in particular: 16.64 million tonnes of wheat, 4.23 million tonnes of barley, 18.4 thousand tonnes of rye, and 23.08 million tonnes of corn.
