Local budget revenues up 20% in Jan-Sept 2021 - Ministry of Finance

The general fund of local budgets received UAH 247.9 billion in January-September 2021, which is 20.1% more compared to the same period last year, Ukrinform reports, referring to the press service of the Ministry of Finance.

"Over the first nine months of 2021, the general fund of local budgets received UAH 247,948.7 million, excluding intergovernmental transfers. The increase in general fund’s revenues, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, amounted to 20.1% or + UAH 41,442.6 million,” reads the report.

Revenues from personal income tax payments over the reporting period came to UAH 150.489 billion. The increase in personal income tax revenues, compared to the corresponding period of 2020, is 19.5% or + UAH 24,550.6 million.

Revenues from land fee payments amounted to UAH 26,620.2 million, which is 9% or UAH 3,455.3 million more compared to January-September 2020.

In January-September 2021, actual revenues from real estate tax payments totaled UAH 5,838.6 million, which is 38.3% or UAH 1,616.9 million more than in the same period last year.

Revenues from the single tax payments reached UAH 32.4 billion, the increase in revenues compared to January-September 2020, was 21.1% or UAH 5,574.8 million.            

As reported, in 2020, revenues of the general fund of local budgets (excluding intergovernmental transfers) amounted to UAH 290.1 billion, which accounted for 99.0% of the approved annual plan, including amendments (UAH 293.2 billion).
