Razumkov signs law on stimulating activities of farms

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov has signed a law on stimulating the activities of farms, Ukrinform reports, referring to the parliament’s website.

"Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov has signed the Law ‘On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Stimulating the Activity of Farms’ (draft law No.4046)," the report says.

The law regulates the composition of land plots of farms and determines the range of recipients of state support through the Ukrainian State Fund for Support of Farms.

The adopted document also provides for state support of a farm whose head is under the age of 35 (inclusive). This will allow rural youth to implement their entrepreneurial initiatives, as well as help stop the migration of young people from rural areas.

The law has been sent to President Volodymyr Zelensky for signature,

As Ukrinform reported, the Verkhovna Rada passed the Law "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Stimulating the Activity of Farms” on September 24.
