The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has appointed Vahram Stepanyan as Resident Representative in Ukraine, according to the Fund’s press release.

“The International Monetary Fund has appointed Vahram Stepanyan as its Resident Representative in Ukraine. He replaced Mr. Goesta Ljungman in this position," the statement reads.

Stepanyan took office on June 28 this year. He is an Armenian national and has spent over 12 years in the IMF, working on diverse issues in a wide range of countries.
