Ukrainian exports grew by more than 25% this year – Shmyhal

In January-May 2021, Ukrainian exports grew by more than 25%, or almost USD 5 billion, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has reported on Facebook.

According to him, over this period, exports to China, the United States, Turkey, and Great Britain increased by almost 50%.

"The favorable external environment, as well as the expansion of the export geography through the support of Ukrainian business, gave such an excellent result," Shmyhal added.

As Ukrinform reported, in January-March 2021 compared to the same period in 2020, Ukrainian imports of goods increased by 11.0%, to USD 15.02 billion, and exports - by 12.0%, to USD 13.71 billion.
