NAPC, Pension Fund launch pilot project to fight corruption

The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) and the Pension Fund of Ukraine have launched a pilot project to create tools to prevent corruption in the Fund, Ukrinform reports with reference to the NAPC press service.

"The National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Pension Fund of Ukraine have launched a pilot project to create effective tools for preventing and combating corruption in the central office of the Pension Fund and its territorial bodies," reads the report.

The project will last for six months. The NAPC expects that its implementation will allow introducing a system of corruption risk management in the bodies of the Pension Fund; adopting an effective anti-corruption program of the institution and creating high-quality anti-corruption policies and procedures of the Pension Fund, which are aimed at complying with the principle of integrity among employees.  

As reported, on April 7, the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and the Central Election Commission signed a memorandum of cooperation, in particular to monitor the receipt and use of election funds.
