FUIB received UAH 2.6B in net profit in 2020

First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB) received UAH 2.6 billion in net profit in 2020, the bank’s press service reported.

The bank's operating income in 2020 amounted to UAH 7.82 billion against UAH 7.25 billion in 2019, an increase of 7.74%. FUIB’s net interest income rose by 29.4% compared to 2019, up to UAH 6.84 billion.

FUIB’s net commission income amounted to UAH 1.67 billion in 2020, a decrease of 4.03% from 2019.

The bank's equity amounted to UAH 9.68 billion. FUIB's assets reached UAH 75.26 billion and its liabilities - UAH 65.58 billion. In 2020, customer funds amounted to UAH 57.51 billion.

It is noted that the quality of FUIB's loan portfolio remains at a high level and according to the results of 2020. The share of bank’s problem assets in total assets and financial liabilities decreased from 10.2% to 4.9%, and reached 4.4% on March 1, 2021, whereas in the entire banking system, this figure was 16.1% at the beginning of the year.

As of March 22, 2021, FUIB's capital adequacy ratio amounted to 19.5%, which is almost two times higher than the normative value of 10%.

As reported by Ukrinform, in 2020, Ukrainian banks reported UAH 41.3 billion in net, down 29% from 2019.
