Kuleba sees no preconditions for returning to business as usual with Russia

Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba says he does not see any preconditions for the European Union to return to business as usual with Russia, as the Kremlin shows no constructiveness in its behavior.

He stated this at a joint press conference with Slovenian Minister for Foreign Affairs Anze Logar in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.

Kuleba reminded that a discussion on the strategy of relations with Russia should take place in the European Union at the end of March.

"Since Russia does not show any constructiveness in its behavior, there are no preconditions for returning to business as usual with Russia. We count on the support of this policy from the Slovenian Presidency [in the EU Council]. It will be possible to reconsider relations with Russia for the better only after Russia itself begins to behave better,” Kuleba said.

As reported, the European Council's strategic discussion on EU-Russia relations is scheduled for late March.
