Volume of domestic government bonds exceeds UAH 92B - Danylyshyn

Since the beginning of the year, the volume of domestic government bonds amounted to UAH 92.6 billion, according to Chairman of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) Bohdan Danylyshyn.

"Since the beginning of the year, the total volume of domestic government bonds amounted to UAH 92.6 billion, including UAH 74.0 billion in hryvnia and UAH 18.6 billion in foreign currency (USD 583 million, EUR 70 million), which is 18.6% of the planned volume of domestic borrowings for 2021,” Danylyshyn wrote on his Facebook page.

According to him, last week the largest investors in domestic government bonds were banks (+UAH 3.3 billion) and non-residents (+UAH 1.9 billion), which also remain the largest investors in government securities in terms of absolute investments (UAH 539 billion) and UAH 103.7 billion, respectively).
