UIA to launch flights to Cappadocia from March

On March 25, Ukraine International Airlines (UIA) will launch direct flights to Nevsehir for those wishing to travel to Cappadocia (Turkey).

"From March 25 to May 16, we are launching direct flights to the city of Nevsehir, from which it is most convenient to get to charming Cappadocia. Buy tickets for UAH 3,075 one way with luggage," the airline’s press service wrote on its Facebook page.

The company added that ski enthusiasts can plan a vacation until mid-April at the Erciyes ski resort, which is only an hour's drive from Nevsehir.

Cappadocia is a historical region in central Anatolia, in the heart of Turkey, with hot, dry summers and snowy winters. Almost every morning, before sunrise, the sky over Cappadocia is covered with hundreds of bright hot air balloons. Flying at dawn, you will see the alien landscape of the most famous natural miracle in Turkey: unique stone mushroom and fabulous chimneys.

As Ukrinform reported, Ukraine International Airlines will resume some flights, which were cancelled during the lockdown, and increase the frequency of flights to popular destinations from March 2021.
