Ukraine’s retail trade turnover grows by almost 5% in Jan 2021

In January 2021, retail trade turnover of retail trade enterprises in Ukraine grew by 4.9% (in comparative prices) to UAH 71.91 billion compared to the relevant month last year, according to the data provided by the State Statistics Service.

The largest volumes of retail sales in January 2021 were recorded in Kyiv city (UAH 16.38 billion), Dnipropetrovsk region (UAH 7.27 billion), Kyiv region (UAH 6.65 billion), and Odesa region (UAH 5.47 billion).

The lowest volumes of retail sales in January 2021 were recorded in Luhansk region (UAH 0.52 billion), Chernivtsi region (UAH 0.70 billion), and Ternopil region (UAH 0.84 billion).

As Ukrinform reported, retail trade turnover of retail trade enterprises in Ukraine in 2020 reached UAH 874.43 billion, which is 7.9% (in comparative prices) higher than in 2019.
