The Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine is ready to promote the growth of domestic exports to the EU markets, Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Industries Oleh Urusky has said.

According to an Ukrinform correspondent, he said this during the international conference for authorized exporters.

"Our Ministry for Strategic Industries will always see the task of increasing exports to the European Union and supporting domestic exporters as a priority for Ukraine's economic growth," Urusky said.

According to him, the Ministry for Strategic Industries is ready to discuss with manufacturing companies the problematic issues of the domestic industry, analyze the causes and consequences of negative phenomena in the production and sale of industrial products and develop mechanisms to overcome problems.

"Increasing supplies of Ukrainian goods to the European Union, production cooperation with European manufacturers, technical re-equipment of domestic enterprises based on investments and modern European technologies is a real and promising way to successfully implement the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement," he said.
