Ukrainian farmers received almost UAH 4B of state support in 2020

As of December 30, 2020, Ukrainian farmers received UAH 3.97 billion of state financial support, which is 99.3% of all funds allocated by the government to support the industry.

Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

He reminded that the Ukrainian government allocated UAH 4 billion to support of the agro-industrial complex in 2020.

"As of December 30, 2020, farmers received UAH 3.97 billion in financial support, which is 99.3% of all funds. This is the highest efficiency we have for the first time in recent years," the deputy minister wrote.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Cabinet of Ministers provided UAH 4.7 billion in the state budget for 2021 to support the agro-industrial complex, which is UAH 700 million more than in 2020. As expected, about 9,000 agricultural enterprises will receive assistance.
