Zelensky thanks international partners for financial support

President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked international partners for financial support and informed that Ukraine will receive EUR 600 million from the EU, EUR 170 million from the World Bank and EUR 640 million from the European Investment Bank.

"I would like to thank our international partners for the support they provide to Ukraine. This is EUR 600 million in macro-financial assistance from the European Union, EUR 170 million from the World Bank for social assistance to pandemic victims and EUR 640 million from the European Investment Bank for the development of eastern regions, development of public transport in all regions and road construction," Zelensky said in a video address posted on Facebook.

As reported, the International Monetary Fund's mission will start the first review of the Stand-By Arrangement for Ukraine on December 21.

Given the pandemic, the mission will hold remote meetings on December 21-23 and will resume work after the New Year holidays in January.
