Kryklii authorized to sign agreement with EIB on road repair in Luhansk region

The Cabinet of Ministers endorsed the decree “On attracting a EUR 100 million loan from the European Investment Bank (EIB) to restore the road infrastructure of Luhansk region."

According to the press service of the Infrastructure Ministry, the loan is provided within the framework of the project "Eastern Ukraine: Reunification, Restoration and Revival (Project 3B)". At the meeting, the government also adopted the president's order "On the Ukrainian delegation to participate in negotiations with the EIB regarding the conclusion of the financial agreement "Eastern Ukraine: Reunification, Restoration and Revival (Project 3B)" and authorized Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii to sign this agreement from the Ukrainian side.

“The implementation of this important project will contribute to the development of the infrastructure of Luhansk region and allow it to fully integrate into the Ukrainian economy,” Kryklii explained.

In addition to a EUR 100 million loan from the EIB, Ukraine will also receive a USD 65 million loan from the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) under Project 3B.
