Ukraine’s construction output grew by 2% in Jan-Oct 2020

In January-October 2020, Ukraine’s construction output grew by 1.9% compared to the relevant period last year, according to the data provided by the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

Over the first ten months of 2020, Ukraine’s total volume of construction products reached UAH 140.9 billion, which is 1.9% more than in January-October 2019. Of this amount, new construction accounted for 37.6%, repairs (major and maintenance) totalled 34.8%, reconstruction and technical re-equipment - 27.6%.

In particular, residential buildings were built for a total sum of UAH 22.53 billion (18.7% less than in January-October 2019), non-residential buildings - UAH 36.36 billion (0.6% less), engineering facilities - UAH 81.96 billion (10.6% more).

As reported, in January-October 2019, Ukraine’s construction output increased by 23.4% compared to the same period in 2018, according to the State Statistics Service.
