Ukraine’s agricultural price index totaled 117.8% in Q3 2020

In the third quarter of 2020, the price index of agricultural products sold by Ukrainian agricultural enterprises amounted to 117.8% compared to January-October last year, the Ukrainian State Statistics Service has reported.

In July-September 2020, Ukraine’s Agricultural Price Index (API) amounted to 117.8% compared to the same period in 2019; in particular, plant products accounted for 120.8%, and livestock products – 102.1%.

The price index of agricultural products sold by Ukrainian agricultural enterprises in January-September 2020 amounted to 107.4% compared to the same period last year (plant products made up 109.0%, and livestock products – 100.6%).

As reported, in the third quarter of 2019, Ukraine’s Agricultural Price Index amounted to 104.8% compared to the same period in 2018. In January-September 2019, it totaled 95.0%.
