Ukraine has harvested about 27 M tonnes of grain already

As of July 30, Ukraine harvested about 27 million tonnes of grain and legumes.

“As of July 30, Ukrainian farmers have already harvested about 27 million tonnes of grain crops and legumes from an area of 7.2 million hectares (48% of areas under crop),” the informational and analytical portal of Ukraine’s agro-industrial complex informs.

In particular, Ukrainian farmers have already gathered 18.3 million tonnes of wheat from an area of 4.8 million hectares (72%); 6.9 million tonnes of barley from an area of 1.9 million hectares (82%); 448,000 tonnes of peas from an area of 197,000 hectares (85%) and 1.8 million tonnes of rapeseed from an area of 845,000 hectares (75%).

The following Ukrainian regions have the biggest gross output so far: Dnipropetrovsk region (3.4 million tonnes from an area of 926,000 hectares), Kharkiv region (3.1 million tonnes from an area of 674,000 hectares), Zaporizhzhia region (2.9 million tonnes from an area of 844,000 hectares)and the Mykolaiv region (2.5 million tonnes from an area of 868,000 hectares).
