Ukraine to cooperate with German Energy Agency on introduction of hydrogen energy

Acting Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) Kostiantyn Hura and representatives of the Ukrainian Energy Ministry held talks with experts from the German Energy Agency (DENA) to continue cooperation and identify the most relevant areas of work for Ukraine and Germany, SAEE's press service has reported.

"DENA representatives reaffirmed the need to strengthen cooperation and drew attention, in particular, to Germany's plans to use hydrogen. DENA is ready to share its research on this topic," the report said.

In addition to developing Ukraine's capacity to use hydrogen, SAEE wants to cooperate with Germany on the introduction of energy storage systems to balance the energy system, the implementation of EU directives in the field of energy efficiency, energy efficiency, including in universities, etc., according to the report.
