Ukrainian market of new commercial vehicles decreased by quarter}

The Ukrainian market of new commercial vehicles decreased by a quarter in January-June 2020 compared with the relevant period of the last year, according to the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association UkrAutoProm.

"In H1 2020, 4.1 thousand new commercial vehicles were registered, which is a quarter less compared with the relevant period of the last year,” reads the report.

In June 2020, 760 new commercial vehicles were registered, which is 21% less than in June 2019.

Fiat vehicles had the largest demand in June 2020, with 118 commercial vehicles registered. Its share on the market rose by 16% from the last year's results.

The second in terms of sales were Renault vehicles, with 106 commercial vehicles registered, which is 38% less compared with June 2019.

Ford ranked third, with 82 commercial vehicles registered in June 2020, which is two vehicles more than in June 2019.

As Ukrinform reported, 12.4 thousand new commercial vehicles were sold in Ukraine in 2019, which is almost 3% less than a year earlier.
