At the meeting, the concept to reform the process of privatization in Ukraine was presented.

Head of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Dmytro Sennychenko noted that the number of participants in privatization auctions doubled in 2020. The Fund has developed an online store with information on privatization.

In addition, in the first five months of 2020, the state budget was replenished with UAH 500 million due to privatization and more than 800 auctions were announced.

According to Sennychenko, with the involvement of the State Property Fund, a comprehensive bill has been developed, which envisages the procedure for transferring objects to private ownership, improves the privatization procedure and ensures its institutional capacity.

As reported, the Verkhovna Rada on June 17 rejected the bills "On the list of objects of state property that are not subject to privatization" (No.2831-1) and "On the resumption of the Law of Ukraine ‘On the list of objects of state property that are not subject to privatization” (No.2831-2).
