The Ukrainian government has developed a program to stimulate the economy, which is primarily aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stated this during the Svoboda Slova talk show on ICTV on Monday evening.

According to Shmyhal, the fall in GDP is projected at 4-8% in the government's action program, which was published on Monday

"The consensus forecast of the IMF and the Finance Ministry is fall in GDP by 4-8% this year. But the economy is expected to grow gradually from the second half of the year,” the prime minister stated.

He also added that to overcome the crisis in the country caused by the coronavirus pandemic, the government has developed and submitted for approval a program to stimulate the economy, which is aimed at supporting small and medium-sized businesses.

A reminder that earlier the Cabinet of Ministers published a revised program of its activities, which includes short-term and long-term priorities of the government's activities.
