Govnt to present program to spur economy to overcome coronavirus crisis

The Cabinet of Ministers at a meeting on Wednesday, May 27, will present a program to stimulate the economy to overcome the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has stated.

“At tomorrow's government meeting, we will present an economic stimulus program to overcome the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. We approached the formation of the program comprehensively and created it in four stages. After all, this is the case when we need a high-quality road map,” Shmyhal wrote on Telegram.

The prime minister added that the program contains a comprehensive response to all aspects of the crisis that occur in the country.

He assured that the result of their work will be finalized by experts and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada for further work.
