Finance Ministry replenishes state budget with UAH 9.86 bln from domestic bonds’ sale

The Ukrainian Finance Ministry attracted UAH 9.86 billion to the state budget as a result of the sale of government domestic loan bonds on April 28, 2020, the Finance Ministry’s press service reported.

“On April 28, 2020, the Finance Ministry offered investors three-month hryvnia-denominated government bonds and U.S. dollar-denominated government bonds with a maturity of six and nine months,” reads the report.

In particular, hryvnia-bonds were sold for UAH 5,377 million (with an average weighted yield rate of 11.24%), U.S. dollar-bonds - UAH 4,455 million in equivalent (USD 53.3 million for six-month securities with a yield of 3.29% and USD 11.24 million for nine-month securities with a yield of 3.5%). In total, UAH 9,832 million was attracted to the state budget.

As Ukrinform reported, the Finance Ministry attracted UAH 24.8 billion to the state budget from the sale of government domestic loan bonds on March 24, 2020.
