SkyUp operates more than 100 flights to evacuate over 20,000 people

From 19 to 27 March, SkyUp Airlines performed more than 100 special flights to 30 countries to evacuate more than 20,000 people, according to the company’s website.

"Over the course of nine days, from March 19 to March 27, 2020, SkyUp Airlines performed more than 100 special flights to 30 countries to allow Ukrainians and foreigners with a residence permit in Ukraine to return home," reads the statement.

It noted that foreign citizens and Ukrainians with a residence permit in other countries were able to use the flights from Ukraine.

"Over this period of time, we transported about 20.8 thousand passengers, including more than 18.5 thousand who returned to Ukraine," reads the statement.
