Ukraine suspends export of anti-epidemic supplies until June 6

The export restrictions on anti-epidemic supplies will remain in effect until June 6, or as long as needed.

“So far, the export restrictions are imposed until June 6 or until the market is saturated and Ukraine's domestic needs are met. If it happens sooner than June 6, we will remove this restriction by a separate decision,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal announced at a briefing after an extraordinary Cabinet’s meeting with the participation of the President, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to him, there is a clear list of such supplies. “These are the things that we and the doctors need for personal protection. We have seen the speculative sizes of export of these products and agreed with more than 400 Ukrainian manufacturers who will fill our market with these products, so that these supplies will finally appear in pharmacies and that the prices will not be speculatively raised,” the Prime Minister emphasized.
