Fifteen percent of Ukrainians would support land market launch on referendum

If the all-Ukrainian referendum on the sale of agricultural land was held next Sunday, 15% of Ukrainians would vote in favor of the land market launch.

These are the results of the survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology (KIIS) "Assessment of Authorities Activity and Response to Current Events: February 2020."

"If the all-Ukrainian referendum on the sale of agricultural land was held next Sunday, 15% of Ukrainians would vote in favor of the land market launch, 62% would vote against, another 18% would not vote," reads the statement.

The KIIS conducted a computer-assisted telephone interview survey based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers from February 21 to February 25, 2020. The adult population (18 years and older) living throughout the territory of Ukraine, except for the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions, participated in the survey. A sampling error of 0.95 does not exceed 3%.
