Honcharuk, Morawiecki discuss infrastructure projects

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk and Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki have discussed infrastructure projects at a meeting in Davos.

“I met in Davos with my Polish counterpart, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. We had a very constructive and practical conversation. The focus of our meeting was infrastructure projects that Ukraine and Poland can implement jointly,” Honcharuk posted on Telegram.

He informed Morawiecki that the Government of Ukraine had already conducted the audit in the country over the past six months and had a clear understanding of what it wanted and planned to do, particularly in the area of infrastructure.

“In the near future, we will present the Strategy for Infrastructure Development of Ukraine. I invited Mr Morawiecki to visit Ukraine to show him our Strategy,” Honcharuk added.

He stressed that a constructive relationship between the two countries was a security factor for the EU.

The Prime Minister also pointed out that 2020 should be a year of enhanced Poland-Ukraine cooperation.

"And we will start it with Mr Prime Minister's visit to the Ukrainian capital," Honcharuk noted.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk makes a two-day working visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of foreign countries and international organizations, as well as with international business representatives.
