Fedorov hopes ten million Ukrainians will use Diia app this year

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov has said he hopes that ten million Ukrainians will become active users of the Diia (Action) government project ("A State in a Smartphone") this year.

He wrote this on his Facebook page.

"The key goal for Diia this year is 10,000,000 active users. And this goal is mega-ambitious. I am sure that it is the most global one, compared to the pace of development of similar projects in other countries," Fedorov said.

According to him, to achieve this goal, the government is looking for a chief marketer who has to come up with an "effective marketing strategy for the most important digital project - Diia."

The testing of the Diia mobile application ("A State in a Smartphone") started in Ukraine on December 11, 2019. It is the first step for the introduction of electronic driving licenses and vehicle registration certificates.
