The Finance Ministry expects that local budget revenues will grow by about 18% next year compared to 2019.

Deputy Finance Minister Hennadiy Plis told Ukrinform during the international expert discussion “Empowering Communities: Building Sustainable and Sustainable Local Governments” in Kyiv, organized by the U-Lead with Europe Programme.

“According to the Finance Ministry's forecast, local budget revenues will grow by 18% in 2020. The forecast for 2019 is that these revenues amount to UAH 281 billion, and they are expected to increase to UAH 338 billion in 2020," he said.

Plis added that actual local budget revenues are usually higher than the Finance Ministry’s forecast and suggested that such revenues could grow by even more than 18%.
