Ukrainian commercial vehicle market decreases by 6% this year

The Ukrainian market of new commercial vehicles decreased by 6% in January-November 2019 compared with the relevant period last year, the Ukrainian Motor Vehicle Manufacturers Association Ukrautoprom reported

“Since the beginning of the year, 10.8 thousand new commercial vehicles were registered in Ukraine, which is 6% less compared with the relevant period last year,” reads the report.

In November 2019, 1,007 new commercial vehicles were registered in Ukraine, which is 10 vehicles less compared with November 2018.

Renault vehicles had the largest demand, with 216 vehicles registered in November. Its share on the market of new passenger vehicles grew by 30% from the last year's results.

The second in terms of sales were Fiat vehicles, with 142 commercial vehicles registered, which is 14% higher compared with November 2018.

Volkswagen ranked third. It sold 89 commercial vehicles in November 2019, recording a 2% rise from the previous year.
